Valentine’s Day Glow: 5 Self-Love Rituals to Manifest Joy

Valentine’s Day Glow: 5 Self-Love Rituals to Manifest Joy

No matter what your relationship status is, whether you are single, married, committed, or engaged- show yourself some love this Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day is not just about celebrating romantic love between partners; at its core, it is about honoring love in all forms, including the love we give ourselves.

Our quality of relationships with others is entirely a reflection of our relationship with ourselves. If we love ourselves, we treat others in our lives with the same love and kindness. But if we are critical of ourselves, our habits, and the small things, then that is what we will see in others too- we will nitpick even the tiniest things, leaving our relationships strained.

It all begins from within!

When we cultivate self-love, we attract more love, joy, and abundance into our lives. Manifestation is a beautiful way to bring our desires into reality and align our energy with what we need.

Make use of this Valentine’s Day as the perfect opportunity to shower yourself with love and open doors to welcome abundance into your life.

Here are my top five self-love manifestation rituals that you must try this Valentine’s Day to level up your energy and invite more love into your life:

1. Mirror Affirmations

❤️ Mirror affirmations are a powerful way to deeply connect with yourself and develop the love that was probably missing in your life. When you face a mirror, you face your reflection- you lock eyes with your soul. There’s no other way apart from the mirror by which you can see yourself. (Please don’t say you can do it with your mobile camera- that’s a different topic altogether!)

❤️ A mirror opens a powerful portal to connect with your inner being and take charge of whatever you’ve been neglecting- it gives us a chance to accept the parts of ourselves that we had disowned.

❤️ A lot of people find it difficult to see their own reflection and not find flaws in it. True power of self-love lies in accepting ourselves as we are, without finding faults, by embracing the raw, unfiltered version that is beautiful and divine.

❤️ Mirror affirmations is a practice that works wonderfully well in shaping our self-worth. All you need to do is stand in front of the mirror, make an eye contact with yourself, and take a deep breath- now say deep affirmations while looking at yourself, such as:

💞 I am worthy of all the love and happiness.

💞 I am enough just as I am.

💞 I love myself. I love my life.

💞 I am healthy, wealthy, and divine.

❤️ Repeat these affirmations until you feel their truth sinking in. This practice rewires your subconscious mind and strengthens your self-esteem.

❤️ Make it a habit to always say something nice to your reflection whenever you pass a mirror. If you can’t find a mirror and are feeling low, just repeat those affirmations in your mind- they will still work in rewiring your brain.

P.S.: Just saying ‘I love You’ to your reflection is more powerful than repeating any other affirmation. Try it!

2. Writing A Love Letter To Yourself

💚 I’m sure you must’ve written and received letters from your partner and friends. But have you ever written yourself a letter?

💚 Well, writing a letter to yourself is a wonderful manifestation technique that helps you acknowledge your strength, appreciate your life, and set clear intentions for the kind of love you want to attract.

💚 This Valentine’s Day, take out some time to write a love letter to yourself. Find a quiet space and take a few moments in silence to reflect on everything you have achieved so far and what it is that you truly love about yourself.

💚 Show gratitude to the universe for supporting you in growing into a better version of yourself. Write down all the things you see yourself achieving in the next year, show gratitude for them in advance, seal the letter in an envelope, and keep it somewhere safe. You can also keep it under your pillow or mattress.

💚 You can either put a date on it and open the letter on that day or revisit it whenever you’re feeling low. This boosts your self-worth and confidence. It’s a cute little reminder that you are your biggest cheerleader and that you are capable of receiving anything you set your eyes and heart on.

💚 Last year, around March, I had written myself a letter and placed it in the back flap of my journal. On December 31st, when I opened it, I realized that everything I had written, big and small, had manifested in my life- except for one thing. When I reflected on that one missed manifestation, I realized that it, too, worked in my favor. Nothing bad ever happens to you; the universe always works for your highest good- note that!

3. Visualization

💛 Visualization is the fastest and most efficient way of ‘living’ the life you want. All you need is to find a spot to sit quietly for a few minutes- a place where you won’t get disturbed.

💛 Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Visualize a warm, radiant light (white/golden/any color) surrounding you from all sides, filling you from top to bottom, head to toe, with its healing and loving energy.

💛 Feel the love, protection, and abundance that the light is blessing you with. Stay in this moment for a few minutes.

💛 Now imagine yourself living a life where you fully embrace and love yourself- where the people around you love and respect you immensely. Involve all your senses and keep building frame after frame where you are receiving love in your life in different forms.

💛 See yourself living the life that you had dreamt of- see your home, see your family, partner, friends- hear yourself receiving compliments, going on trips, and enjoying life without limitations.

💛 Stay in this feeling for a few minutes, allowing the energy of love to flow through you. When you feel emotionally happy and satisfied, quietly end the visualization and open your eyes.

💛 When you keep repeating this kind of visualization, you not only build a stronger self-worth, but you also trick your subconscious mind into believing that what you’re visualizing is actually reality. The more you keep doing this, the quicker the subconscious will make the quantum jump and turn it into your current reality.

4. Plan a Day for Self-Care Activities

🤎 Of course, feeding your mind with good intentions is extremely crucial, but taking care of it and giving the physical aspect equal importance is necessary too.

🤎 Plan a day with self-care activities for yourself. Book a salon appointment and get a facial, a haircut, a manicure-pedicure, or maybe just put on some soothing music and draw yourself a warm bath.

🤎 Imagine the water washing away all your doubts and negativity, leaving you feeling refreshed and calm.

🤎 Say affirmations like, “I am worthy of receiving the best in life. I am surrounded by love, and I am blessed with the best in life.”

🤎 When you step out, imagine stepping into a new version of yourself- one who is confident, safe, and fully embraces self-love.

5. Practice Gratitude

🧡 Valentine’s Day is a powerful time to set intentions for the love you want to experience in your life- it can be self-love, love from family, your partner, or friends.

🧡 The secret to attracting abundance in your life lies in expressing gratitude and raising your vibration. When you show gratitude for having love in your life, you attract more love into your life.

🧡 The universe rewards you with more of what you focus on, which is why staying mindful is necessary to live a happy life. Instead of focusing on your lack, shift your perspective to all the amazing things about yourself.

🧡 Gratitude instantly redirects your focus, which is why you must show gratitude for even the littlest things in life.

🧡 When you look around, you’ll realize there’s so much to be thankful for- there’s air, food, clothes, your home, nature, family, friends, your partner, kids, pets, water, electricity- the list is never-ending.

🧡 Gratitude should be a part of your lifestyle, not a temporary practice that you do once and then let go of. If you really want to see a positive change in your mindset, start practicing gratitude every morning and night.

🧡 Notice the magic: in just a few days, you will experience synchronicities and opportunities opening up for you!

Self-love isn’t just a one-day practice- it’s a lifelong journey. Imagine the joy you feel when you do it once. How will you feel when you add it permanently to your daily routine? Won’t your life feel better?

By incorporating self-love manifestation rituals, you cultivate a deeper connection with yourself and attract more love effortlessly.

This Valentine’s Day, celebrate the most important person- YOU!

Remember, the more you love yourself, the more love you will naturally attract from the world around you.

Now, let me know in the comments, which self-love ritual are you planning to indulge in this Valentine’s Day?
