Balloon Visualization: Lift Your Dreams

There are two ways I do this, both equally powerful:

The first way is to imagine you are holding a bunch of colorful balloons in your hand. Each balloon represents a desire or goal in your life. Once you’ve decided what each balloon represents, start visualizing it as if it’s happening in the moment.

While visualizing, begin blowing into the balloon. As the balloon expands, imagine your desire growing into a more beautiful, bright and clear picture. Do this for each balloon, blowing and expanding each desire.

When you’re done, let go of the balloons one by one or all at once, trusting that you’ve released your desires into the universe, knowing they will manifest at the right time.

The other way is to imagine a bunch of balloons in your hand again. This time, assign a color to each area of your life and release them as an expression of gratitude to the universe for keeping that area happy, healthy and perfect.

For example, red could represent love, so you release the red balloon into the sky, thanking the universe for blessing you with constant guidance and the perfect partner, family and friends who continuously shower you with love.

Similarly, green could represent your perfect finances, blue could symbolize your successful and rewarding career and yellow could signify your perfect health. You can match any color to any area of life by following your intuition. The idea is to feel the joy of releasing your desires into the universe.

Once you do this with full faith, you’ll realize how light you feel from within by sharing your vision with the universe. This builds your connection with the divine and makes it easier to embrace the art of letting go.

The Manifestation Jar: Your Personal Dream Keeper

Again, I practice this in two different ways. One jar represents my manifestation jar and the other is my gratitude jar.

In the manifestation jar, you can put all your 2025 goals- there’s no limit. Your goals can be one, ten or twenty; it’s really your choice. Whatever number you feel comfortable with, just go ahead with that. I believe that when it comes to manifesting, you should never limit yourself to a number.

A friend of mine, while doing this practice, called me and said, ‘I’ve filled my manifestation jar with thirteen desires, but then I thought it was too much, so I selected the most important ones and took the others out. Now I have seven chits in my jar.’

I immediately pointed out her mistake, explaining that what she thought was a smart action was actually a negative signal to her mind. When you curb your desires, you confine yourself. In her case, she initially wrote all thirteen desires with complete freedom, allowing her mind to ask the universe for whatever she thought was best for her. But when she filtered her desires based on importance, she signaled her mind to think in a limited way, telling it to compromise- implying that not every desire is meant to be manifested. This blocked her flow.

As advice from my side, whenever you follow the manifestation jar practice, treat it like a fun activity or a manifestation game. When you do this, your mind comes up with creative ideas and desires. Keep noting them. Become a child who asks for things without attaching logic to their wishes.

If you get a chance to wish for something, grab it and ask the universe for anything that your heart desires. Don’t think about the ‘ifs,’ ‘buts’ and ‘hows’- leave that to the universe. You are the universe’s child and it’s your right to ask for things from your heavenly parent. Trust the universe just as you trusted your parents to take care of you when you were a kid. Have that unwavering faith in deserving the best in life and ask for whatever you want with pure intentions.

For the gratitude jar, simply write down and place notes in the jar for whatever you are grateful for. For daily gratitude practice, I recommend keeping a gratitude journal. Gratitude jars are essentially for writing and storing your blessings or desires as affirmations in the present tense and keeping them in the jar. Or, you can actually fill it with the blessings you receive on a regular basis.

How I do it is that every week I reflect on the things that worked in my favor, write them down like a thank you note to the universe and fill my jar with it. Again, there is no limit- you can fill the jar with one or ten blessings at a time.

Remember, there will never be a time when you won’t have anything to fill the jar with. You are surrounded by blessings so don’t worry about the jar overflowing- there are plenty of jars available in the market. You can buy another one and continue filling that too; the more, the merrier.

On days when you feel low, these jars serve as a great reminder of all the blessings you are surrounded with. You can also use them on a daily basis- just take out any random chit and start visualizing whatever is written there.

The 3-Minute Instant Manifestation

Focus on any one desire and set a timer for 3 minutes. The aim of this manifestation game is to imagine living your desire as if it’s a reality and is happening in the moment. You need to follow these 5 basic rules:

  1. Visualize it happening like a movie, not as a still picture. See yourself moving and taking action. Be and act like the person who is living that desire.
  2. See the movie as colorful as possible; it shouldn’t be black and white.
  3. See it in your mind’s eye–  focus on the midpoint between your eyebrows.
  4. Add details. Notice what you are wearing. Who is with you? What are they wearing? Where are you? Observe the colorful surroundings. Hear the compliments people are giving you. Hear other background sounds. Feel the joy, happiness and pride of achieving and living your desire.

5. Don’t move– sit still with your back straight for 3 minutes. When you visualize with your eyes closed and maintain a straight, still posture, your mind gets tricked into believing that whatever you are seeing in your mind’s eye is actually happening in reality.

This 3-minute manifestation game is my personal favorite and has become a part of my routine. It’s a reminder that even on the busiest days, I can easily take out 3 minutes to feel refreshed and live a slice of what I truly deserve and desire.

Manifestation Storytelling: From Pen to Reality

Manifestation storytelling is a fun exercise where you choose a desire or goal and write about it in detail on paper. This is perfect for those who find visualizing challenging. The rules of this game are simple:

1. Specify the what, why and how: What is your desire? Why do you want it? Give three reasons to justify your why, and how will you feel when you receive it? Write down the emotions and feelings.

2. Act ‘as if’: Pretend you are already living your desire. Write a story on paper about a day where you’re living your dream life. Describe it in vivid detail, focusing on the feelings you mentioned in your “how,” including how you feel, where you are and what you’re doing.

3. Add as many details as possible: Start from the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep. Describe what you’re wearing, what you’re eating, where you’re going, who is with you, your home, pets- let your mind wander and come up with creative ideas. What will make you laugh? What is your predominant emotion throughout the day? How are you sitting and walking? Welcome ideas from all directions and write them all down.

4. Take your time: Set aside a good amount of time for this activity. The best time would be before you sleep so that you can process what you wrote, visualize it and sleep on it. Don’t hurry to finish it. There’s no time limit. In fact, it’s quite the opposite- the more time you invest here, the better your chances of quickly manifesting it.

5. Do it in one go: Avoid taking breaks, as that will break your chain of thoughts and take away the essence of this manifestation game. It’s best to sit and keep writing without lifting the pen much.

Once you finish the storytelling game, read what you wrote and set the paper aside. Before you go to sleep, visualize what you wrote, including the minute details. You don’t have to read it regularly, but keep it as a reminder when you feel detached from your desire or are feeling low. Let it be the gateway to enter your desired reality whenever you want.

Spot the Color, Affirm the Dream

This manifestation game is super fun. All you have to do is select four colors and assign each color to the major four areas of your life (Health, Relationships, Career and Money). Throughout the day, whenever you see that color around you, pause and say an affirmation related to that area. The catch here is to not repeat the same affirmation.

For example, let’s say the four colors you choose are blue, green, yellow and white, where blue represents your career, green is for health, yellow is for money and white is for relationships. Now, whenever you spot these four colors in your surroundings- whether at home, outside, on your mobile or on a billboard- you will remember the area linked with it, smile and say an affirmation.

Let’s say you wake up and see a green bottle on your desk. You immediately remember that green is associated with health, so you can say, ‘I feel so energetic right now’ or ‘My body is so flexible.’ Make it fun by being specific, targeting specific body parts and not just saying general affirmations like ‘I am so grateful for my perfect health.’ Specify the why; add details.

Now, let’s say you spot a blue pen. You can then affirm something related to your career, like ‘I enjoy what I do. It brings me joy’ or ‘My work is so rewarding! I am blessed to be doing this daily.’

For yellow, which represents money, you can affirm, ‘I love how my savings are multiplying every month’ or ‘I give and receive money with love.’

Now for relationships, denoted by the color white, you can say, ‘I am blessed with a super supportive family and life partner. We enjoy each other’s company and make every day loving and happy,’ or ‘My friends always give me the best advice and support system when I need it.’

This manifestation game is known to build a strong connection with your desires. By the end of the day, you’ll unconsciously tune your mind to your desires through creative affirmations.

No matter which one of these five manifestation games you try or if you build a combo, they will all work beautifully and powerfully for you. Manifestation works best when you start enjoying it instead of doing it as a to-do task.
