The existence of angels
If I ask you a simple question: “Do angels exist in the real world?”, what will you answer? A lot of you might say the first and last time you identified angels was when you flipped through pages of a fairytale that you read in your childhood; but what if I tell you that angels have an actual existence in this realm. Will you believe me? Yes, you read it right! Angels are spirits that are present around us. These spirits are known to be direct messengers of God and are always ready to communicate with us if and when we need them.
As kids, we often associated angels dressed in a white gown, with wings on both their sides and a halo behind or above their head but if you’re actually curious to know about them then I would suggest you to read the Bible because the Bible describes in detail the major role angels play in our existence.
It also mentions the history and hierarchy of angels along with the most common three groups that they’re put into. The highest order signifies the ones nearest to God whereas the lowest are nearest to mankind. Among the different types, the most commonly known to human race are the guardian angels that grace the earth with their protection, love and light.
Peter Kreeft, a Catholic philosopher states that every human has a guardian angel. While no scripture backs this statement, there are claims that guardian angels exist. In fact, an apocryphal book named Tobit, is the only book that states that every person existing on this planet is assigned with his or her own guardian angel(s).
For angels, the whole world is one place; they can be anywhere and everywhere in a current moment. They are highly powerful than humans and possess control and abilities that are larger than us. Those with a Catholic or religious upbringing would know that the book of Enoch mentions seven Archangels (Gods closest messengers): Uriel, Raphael, Raguel, Michael, Sariel, Gabriel and Jeremel.
Abraham’s testament on the other hand mentions two more archangels namely: Dokiel and Puriel. What I realized is that the more you read and research about angels, the more you will come across uncountable names of archangels and angels.
For instance, Bible mentions two angels: Michael and Gabriel, amongst who Archangel Michael is revered as the highest of all in terms of both power and authority. Then there are Seraphs and Cherubs possessing special duties.
It is said that irrespective of the hierarchy, God directs angels to assist humans in their daily life so that they can live a happy life. If we study deeply, we will come across ample anecdotes of those who benefited from angels by placing their faith in them.
Now, the obvious question that may cross your mind is how to connect with the angels and invite them to be a part of our daily lives, right?
Let me first tell you that our angels are always around us. By always I mean 24*7 and 365 days a year, but the only reason they don’t manifest in their true form is because they know that we won’t ever be able to fathom their reality.
Imagine a 10 feet tall, wide figure standing in front of you with white wings and a constant gleam around him. Tell me honestly will you stand and admire that figure or will you run for your life? Well, our instant reaction would be to back off because of never being encountered with something so unusual before.
It’s only because of this alarm of the unknown in us that the angels prefer to stay invisible and express their presence through our senses or by dropping specific signs that we ask for. These signs are as subtle as feeling a sudden gush of air or a tingling sensation on a body part. Sometimes it can be a glow of light when we close our eyes or any particular sign that we may specifically had asked for.
Earth Angels
Angels are best known to manifest themselves in a human form especially when the situation is critical or when a person needs immediate help. They can effortlessly manifest as an ordinary person, help you resolve your situation and then just vanish into where they came from. When they do so, they are termed as Earth Angels- the type that wanders on earth in human body but is divine from within. Their lone purpose is to help humanity be in the best place possible.
I remember reading two beautiful stories about Earth Angels a few years back. The first one was when a woman was crying desperately as her husband had met with an accident and was in a critical situation admitted in the hospital. The doctors had nearly given up but after a few minutes, the nurse came out of the room and announced that the patient was responding.
Soon after, the man miraculously recovered and eventually healed in a matter of days. Even the doctors were surprised to witness such a quick recovery. One day at home the man mentioned to his wife that while he was lying half numb in the hospital, he remembered seeing a dream where he had died and everyone was crying. He recalled seeing a person wearing a white coat touching his forehead saying “It’s all over now, you’re absolutely fine! Go home.”
He recollected waking up from that dream to being surrounded by a group of doctors and nurses in the room sighing in relief and happiness with him responding to them with such ease. Hearing this, the wife immediately recognized that what her husband called a dream was actually an angel answering her prayer by blessing him with a new life!
Another story is of a young boy who had skipped his college lectures and was sitting alone on a bench in a park. He was feeding bread to the squirrels and birds when suddenly a man came and joined him on the same bench. He greeted the boy and asked him where he was from. After a short conversation, the man asked the boy why he missed college to which the boy hesitatingly shared that he felt like quitting college as he had no friends and felt a strong pang of low self-esteem.
He admitted feeling suicidal at times because he had no purpose to serve. Hearing the boy intently, the man replied that to be friends with someone else and to find a purpose in life, one must be their own friend first. He asked him to be confident in his self and focus on his growth- both personal and academic, and once his focus is on feeling good he will automatically attract new people who will prove to be his true friends for life.
He then asked him what he meant when he said his life didn’t have a purpose. The boy exclaimed that every single day he wakes up feeling like he didn’t do anything worthwhile. To this the man replied that purpose doesn’t always imply to moving mountains in life; purpose can be as simple as feeding the squirrels or waking up on time. It can be as simple as appreciating your reflection in the mirror and complimenting your existence.
He enlightened the boy with the fact that maybe he was just chasing a wrong definition of purpose by hearing and getting influenced by others definition of purpose. In reality, true purpose of life is cherishing every moment as it comes by being in alignment with what makes us happy from within. “If skipping college and being here bring you peace then this is it for you. This is your purpose of the day.”
The boy looked at the squirrels with a smile. The man responded that even the squirrels might feel a sense of happiness seeing the boy, but for obvious reasons they can’t express it as our mode of communication is different to theirs. For them showing up for the boy, trusting that he will come every day is the best form of expression.
He further illuminated the thought by saying that even if for some reason he skips to come for a day, the squirrels will still go out and look for food somewhere else and be happy. Same goes for us, we should always show up for the world around us, trusting that we will thrive in every situation, no matter if we find friends or have to walk solo. Our life will always take us to happy places. It will always satisfy our needs. The boy bends to toss his last piece of bread to the squirrel on his right. While doing this he felt a calm breeze pass through him.
He said “Thank you so much for whatever you said, thank you for giving me a new perspective. I really needed to hear this.” The moment the boy curved up to look on his side, the man was gone. The boy looked around but couldn’t even trace a shadow of him. The park was so huge that it was next to impossible to walk so fast and disappear. It was like he came from thin air and then just vanished into it.
These my friends are true tales from people who had the privilege to come across earth angels. They come, help you and then gracefully disappear. And you know what’s even more interesting? The fact that they will visit you again and again whenever you need a dose of boost in your life. It’s not a one-time thing to encounter angels, sometimes you meet them regularly without even you knowing about it. At times we are just surrounded by one. Even if it’s hard for you to digest this fact, just know that you’re always protected. Let that feeling of being safe sink into your system.
11 Ways In Which Angels Communicate With Us
Angels communicate with us in diverse forms. I’m listing below some of the most common ways in which we can feel their presence around us:
1. Number synchronicities: Angels often send us messages by flashing numbers. These are repetitive number patterns that we will notice in our surrounding when the angels are near. The list of synchronized numbers is long, but the most common are 111, 4444, 333, 666,999 or patterns like 8787, 1212, 2525. Each pattern and synchronicity has a meaning linked with it which I will discuss in a separate dedicated post.
2. Feathers: I have been a witness to receiving feathers out of nowhere whenever I called my angels. In fact, receiving a feather was the first ever sign I received from my angels when they showed me their presence in my life. You can receive a feather anytime and anywhere. For some, feathers just land in front of them while they’re out in nature and then there are some who mysteriously find feathers stuck on their clothes.
I have kept a separate small box where I keep all the feathers that I have received since the time I got acquainted to angels. What’s interesting is that the colors of feathers signify a message. Like a green feather represents good health and healing, a white feather means peace, black feather refers to protection and so on. 3. Penny/Coins: Finding a penny or a coin is also a common way of communicating with angels. In fact, finding a coin is considered to be lucky in many traditions. It is said that someone from our spirit team is always blessing and communicating with us through coins.
My brother is very fortunate in this case- like I receive feathers, he receives a penny from the angels almost every other day. In many spiritual traditions it is interpreted as a message from the departed loved ones and ancestors indicating that you are valued, protected and on the right path.
4. Physical sensations: Angels show us their presence by subtle body sensations like tingling, a sudden gush of sir, feeling of warmth on a body part, goose bumps and so many more similar sensations. A lot of people even sense a presence around them when their eyes are closed. For some it might sound a little chilling, but those who are familiar with an angel’s presence know that it’s the most heart-warming feeling ever.
5. Dreams: Dreams are a gateway to access the deeper parts of our soul. It is a well-known fact that angels as well our ancestors communicate with us through our dreams. Mostly, we don’t remember our dreams when we wake up which is natural but what is important is to maintain a sleep ritual where you prepare yourself to sleep instead of sleeping in a haste and mindless way.
If there’s a particular situation occurring in your life where you need guidance then before sleeping just ask your angels to visit you in your dreams and share with you a solution to the problem. Make sure you keep a pen and paper ready right next to you so that you write whatever is shown to you because most likely you will tend to forget the details once you’re awake. Many people have been saved from grave situations by being aware of their dreams.
6. Sounds: We all have an inner voice within us. This voice is intuitive and is the voice of our soul. It is always active and tries all it can to save us from situations and potential troubles. Sometimes, angels also communicate with us through voices, we just need to be attentive enough to catch what they want to convey. The more silent and calm we are from within, the receptive we’ll be to decoding the messages.
7. Visions: The best way is to close your eyes, take a few breaths and experience what the angels want to show. To dive into a meditative state helps a lot to receive visions clearly. Mostly you will see flash of colors or circles and lines at first, but for some who frequently meditate and have a great control on their mind have claimed to have seen clear visuals of angels standing in front of them.
8. Symbols and messages: Angels are known to offer solutions by flashing clear messages that are very personal and direct to you. Like when you’ll be scrolling through social media, a post will grab your attention giving you an apt direction to what you might be thinking. Whenever I’m in doubt, I gaze through my book shelf and pick up a book that attracts me the most and open a random page. Mostly something on that page gives me a sense of calm to the hurricane running in my head.
9. Human and animal helpers: Angels might communicate their messages to you through random people or souls close to you. Like you might be confused on something and a friend might call you and answer your queries or you might overhear a conversation that’ll help you understand a different outlook or you might just spot an animal or bird that’ll grasp your attention. Don’t forget to Google the symbolism that the bird and animal has. Usually noticing them carries more meaning than what your eyes will trace.
10. Scent: You might experience a strong sense of perfume or scent around you while walking or being in a space that’s not necessarily crowded. This is an angel’s way to make their presence known.
11. Advertisements/lyrics/quotes: Mostly angels will answer your queries through a quote that you’ll see on social media or through a novel that you’ll notice someone else reading on a bus/train/park/cafe or through lyrics of a recurring song. Signs can be anywhere you just need to stay attentive. Keep your senses open.
How To Invoke Angels?
We can easily connect with angels by simply asking for their guidance. Some might find it easier to connect with them through a prayer, while some might just call with faith. Both ways are correct. If you feel like connecting to God first and asking him to send angels for your aid, then go ahead. But you must stay aware that angels are always ready to assist you. They just need you to call on them.
Our soul is so much stronger than we may think. It is always connected to other souls and the Holy Spirit. So before connecting with angels make sure you connect with your own soul first because only then you’ll be able to connect with other souls/angels. One thing we need to keep in mind here is that angels and guides only bond with our heart and not with our ego so please keep your doubts aside.
To call on angels, we just need to address them. Of all, archangels are stronger than other angels but also kind and approachable. They love to be of service because by serving us they serve God. You can always call on them by repeating their name 5-6 times and wait for them to show their presence.
Just call on them saying “Angels, I’m calling you right now. I need your guidance. Please come, show me your presence and help me. Thank you!” After this, you just need to wait and observe for signs in which they will communicate with you. Do keep your senses open. Quiet your thoughts because once your mind grows silent you radiate at a high frequency and this is when you will get clear messages from angels with ease.
I have come across people who don’t believe in the existence of angels and cannot associate with anything that we’ve discussed so far. Each to his own, I guess! While I respect others opinions, I just want to convey to those who have the slightest hope in angels that communicating with them is very natural. In fact it’s as normal as communicating with a fellow soul and once we connect with angels and see wonders happening, we will make it a habit to live like that and that’s probably the best thing we can do for ourselves!
We need to show faith and identify ourselves with a baby. Have you ever seen babies staring into nowhere and smiling on their own? Well, it’s not for nothing! It’s because they can see angels. Even our pets can see angels. It’s because they are so pure and non-judgmental towards them that they can see them as easily as they can see us. We as adults on the other hand might not react the same way. We might just get scared and develop pointless fears, worries and apprehensions.
Angels and guides make our life so much happier. With them in our life, we not only gain solutions to our material world, but we also gain inner peace, something that is difficult to buy with money; something that only our soul and heavenly power can grant us. They help us grow in life.
In fact, some texts even state that our angels always help us irrespective of us being ignorant towards their existence because before being incarnated we made a promise with them to guide us no matter what and though we might forget that promise, they most definitely remember it. To think about it, a lot of us might be an angel to someone else. All it takes is to be good and pure in our intentions and help others without asking for anything in return.
Using our imagination is another great way to communicate with them as according to the law of manifestation whatever you can imagine and picture in your head is potentially real. Look around; observe your life- the situations and the things around, you will realize that they all came from a place in your head that you’d once visualized. Interesting, isn’t it?
When you seek help from angels, make efforts to get out of your comfort zone too. Do something different every day because they open opportunities for you. Try taking a different route to work by skipping your familiar track, talk to random people or call your friends or relatives who you haven’t spoken to in a while. You might just find some hints in these conversations and places.
If your intention is pure and true, then nothing can stop you from connecting to your angels. A lot of people claim to get instant help by going for a half an hour walk in the nature as new ideas and solutions just come up when you give your mind a little break and inhale the fresh air that nature has to offer.
You just need to surrender to the universe and angels, trusting that they will bring to you the best for your life. Never try to control situations because controlling only indicates your lack of trust in the universe. Be open to changes; don’t be rigid in your actions and thinking because rigidity builds blocks that only push your desired reality away from you.
You know what matters the most when your reality changes and you finally get what you want? It’s your attitude after that. Always make sure that you shower the angels with heartfelt gratitude. I have watched people following everything so religiously and then giving up on the routine when they get what they want. This just takes away the essence of your trust.
As soon as your wish turns into reality, you must say ‘thank you’ to the angels and make it a habit to walk with faith knowing that they’ve always got our back. Nobody is asking you to say it aloud. Just say a silent prayer within. The best way to be thankful is by experiencing joy and happiness because that’s what our angels selflessly want for us. They want us to experience joy in every situation, not just the ones related to our wish but also the difficult situation that may arise out of nowhere in our life. By living life with this unshakeable confidence we only build a stronger connection with our angels and guides.
One of my friends asked me if it’s possible to get angels assistance 24*7, round the clock. I replied with a conclusive yes to that. The truth is that when we get into a receptive state and ask for angels to be with us, and visualize their presence then they will surely be with us throughout the day and night. At times, it doesn’t even amaze me to realize that they don’t even need a call. They’re just there! The stronger our faith, the happier we will feel in every area of life as we will become a magnet and attract the same vibrations to us naturally. Remember, when you love life, your life loves you back even more.
Angels And Manifestation
Invoking angels and asking them to be present with us every single moment makes our manifestation ride smoother and happier. When you know that you’re divinely guided, your mind will tend to work with an ease trusting that the angels have your back.
In fact your manifestation accelerates because the angels make sure that you’re always on the right track to a clearer future. Not only do they remove roadblocks but they also make sure that we breathe positivity and stay in high vibrations majority of the time- all of which is extremely important for our manifestations to take place.

The key to this is recognizing our desire and then simultaneously calling upon the angels so that we can train our mind to be familiar with invoking angels and trusting that we are highly protected and loved under their guidance.

Not only do we attract what we want, but we miraculously receive so much more along the way. That’s literally the power that the angels hold. They are always ready to sprinkle their magic on us; all we need to do is ask them to be a part of our lives.
Just one call and they come lovingly in no time. In fact, they’re super quick in responding to us. Just be aware that your wish should be pure with good intentions towards all and not something that might hurt somebody as that will only create blocks in your manifestation journey.
Angels hold the power of opening doors of chances for us that even we can’t think for ourselves. They add positivity, luck, happiness, abundance and success to our already existing life because they love us immensely. For them emotions like ego and jealousy do not exist because they are purely made of love and selflessness and they never ask for anything in return. They only pass their healing light and blessings to us.

My Experience And Connect With The Angels
I remember a few years back I was quite fascinated with tarot cards and one evening I just stumbled upon a website that gave free readings to people. Out of curiosity I just clicked on the page and took a tarot card reading for me. While I was happy with what came out, my eyes traced a section below that stated “Your angels message for you!” I clicked on it and the message was hardly a line or two but it resonated so well with me.
I then searched for angel card readings and what they really meant. At that point, like others, I also believed angels were illusory forms created by writers to amuse little children. But to my surprise, I came across so many articles describing angel’s existence in the real world. Yes, they do exist! They’re real and honestly, I was captivated with this piece of information. What I never realized was how a random website would take me closer to connecting with angels in the most beautiful way!
Once I started reading about it, I couldn’t stop researching, understanding and watching videos on it. I loved every detail about it and then one evening after sunset I was walking in my backyard. It was dark and everything was still. I felt it was the correct time so I just casually called on the angels in my head and said “I always thought of you to be fictional but you cannot imagine how fascinated I am with your existence. Can you please show me your presence?”
The moment I said this was while I was walking and I vividly remember what happened subsequently. I turned around and I saw a white feather falling from somewhere above, hardly 15 steps away from me, near the curry tree in my house. I was so stunned!
Not kidding, I mean I know I asked for a sign but since it was a first for me, I literally dropped my jaw seeing that because there was no way a bird could be traced around that hour. Even the tree was at a distance from the feather. It was dark and the surroundings were silent and all of this happened within seconds. Like I just wished for it and I saw it happen the moment I turned. I rushed and picked that feather. It was almost an inch-long white feather with the softest feel to it.
The funny part was I couldn’t recall touching a feather before this which I knew was weird because I’m sure I would have picked a feather at some point in my life earlier. My excitement level was so up as I received something so beautiful from the divine! I immediately knew what people meant when they said, “We’re one with God!”
I remember taking my precious feather inside to keep it under my pillow. I was so happy that I couldn’t stop smiling that night. I didn’t share it with anyone because I didn’t know if anyone even knew about angels the way I did, but two days later we had to travel for my dad’s routine check-up and I remember sharing this feather incident in detail with my mom.
She listened carefully and showed equal (or maybe more) excitement. My mom always encourages me and my beliefs, even if they are new to her. She’s the best motivator who never makes me feel odd about anything, which is why I don’t have to think twice before sharing even the most unusual experiences with her. In fact, the same applies to each of my family member. My dad, brother and sister-in-law, all are equally supportive and encouraging. It’s such a blessing to breathe in a safe environment that they’ve created naturally for me!
Coming back to the story and forwarding it to the next day when we were in the hospital waiting for our turn to enter the doctor’s cabin, I assured my mom that everything will be okay and that I have the feather with me in my pocket. The waiting area where we three were sitting had a wide see-through window to view the garden outside.
While there were other people sharing the waiting space with us, I decided not to engage with my phone and talk to my parents instead. At one point, I was just observing the plants outside from my seat when my mom asked me “How do you connect with angels?” I told her you just talk to them like you talk to a friend; like how we are talking right now.
To show her, I said- “Okay let’s just tell the angels to be with us right now and make sure everything goes well”. Both I and my mom repeated the sentence in our minds and just a few moments later, I saw a feather swaying outside the window and I elbowed my mother to look at it. That was the first time my mom witnessed the presence of angels!
It was my second experience and since then there was no looking back for us. I remember that day turned into such a happy day for us because my dad’s reports were absolutely normal; in fact they showed improvement in his health. His doctor was happy, we were happy and what else could we had wished for? We came back home smiling, laughing and feeling lighter.
Another incident I can recall is when I lost my dog. I wept for days and I felt really sad remembering her. The only thing that brought me peace was that she had turned into an angel. At least that’s what my intuition told me! One night, before sleeping I remember praying to God and asking for her happiness and protection and as a sign for me to know that she was absolutely fine I asked for a green feather.
I waited for a few days but nothing showed up which made me a little anxious and I remember calming myself down by repeating and reminding myself that everything was fine and I have to trust God and my angels and not show any desperation concerning my wish.
The next morning, I received a long green feather near our water tank in the garden. It instantly bought a huge smile on my face and a sense of calm to my heart. I felt so good to know that my dog had found a happy place in heaven and that she’s also an angel now. Till date, I have that green feather with me. I’ve placed it in my mobile cover and whenever I see it, I feel a sense of warmth and protection around me.
These are just two of the many beautiful incidents that have happened with me which strengthened my faith in the existence and power of angels. What I must convey to you is that receiving feathers is not the only way to spot an angel’s presence around us. It’s just a sign I receive the most from my angels.
You might resonate with other signs as every person has their own way of connecting with angels. Just like how I get feathers, my brother gets pennies and coins. He just finds so many of them lying in random places. Sometimes even in bizarre spots! I feel it’s a blessing from heaven above for him and I pray he continues to find many more treasures from his angels.
Sometimes you can ask the angels for a specific sign and you will receive that too. The most common is seeing synchronicities around you or hearing/ sighting an angels name written somewhere. I see so many billboards with “Michael” name written on it, or an Instagram post with ‘Gabriel’/ other angels names.
In fact, a few months back I went out for dinner with my family. There was an aquarium there and a black fish caught my attention. It resembled a triangle in its form. It looked so distinctive yet beautiful and my immediate thought was to get a similar pair for our tiny aquarium at home. When I searched about it, I realized they’re called “Angel Fish”. No wonder I was drawn towards them!
The point is, in however way you’ll personally connect with angels will reveal very naturally and organically to you. You will know in an instant because your intuition and gut will guide you through it but always be certain that wherever you are, you’re always protected, safe, healthy and blessed. No harm can even touch you because your angels are guarding you from all sides; once their beautiful presence dawns on you, you will see major positive shifts happening effortlessly in your timeline and you will live your dream life without any obstacles.
